Har Mar Superstar
Sean Tillmann (aka Har Mar Superstar) is an American songwriter & performer who makes R&B / Pop / Soul music. What started as a one-man show in 1999 has grown into a full-band revue. Often noted as a premier live act, Tillmann works the crowd and earns his keep with sweat equity. A grueling tour schedule has made this Minneapolis, MN outfit a show not to miss.
Austin's own Sabrina Ellis fronts bands A Giant Dog and Sweet Spirit, regularly delivering a "masterful performance, in equal parts brash, defiant, vulnerable, and raw."
Texas based lo-fi musicians Meggan Carney and Matthew Sheffer have worked together on various projects dating back as early as 2010, but they eventually teamed up as co-writers in 2014 to form Zettajoule. They spent several years performing with a full band but have since reduced in size to what it is now: an electronic duo with a lot of heart, as well as a sense of humor. The duo made noise in 2018 with high accolades in the local radio scene carrying the title of the KUTX Artist of Month in November. They also released a 6 song EP called Always Looking Up produced completely on their iPhones, which KUTX’s Jack Anderson has called “a digital modern pop masterpiece”. They continue to bring the DIY spirit to the stage, armed only with samplers and synths, opening for various national acts with an unpredictable show that is dark, funny and danceable.
